eye was a short-lived attempt on a counterculture XXL magazine by editor Helen Gurley Brown. It appealed to college students, mostly women, and covered fashion, music & politics, including “big fat” fold-out posters. Some say it was a prime example of consumerism cashing in on the “youth market”. Only 15 issues were published. Source
